Deliveries & Returns


At Fechters, we strive to deliver your purchase with excellent service, every time. We offer Unlimited Furniture Delivery on applicable products for each order shipping to one address. Your furniture and select non-furniture items will be delivered by experienced white glove delivery professionals. You will be charged a flat rate based on your delivery area. We will not charge your account until your order has shipped, with the exception of deposits for special orders.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into the desired location.

Once you are notified that items are ready for delivery, we ask that you take receipt of them within 30 days. At the time of scheduling, please notify RH of any special requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs and service elevator reservations.

Most furniture items and select non-furniture items that qualify for Unlimited Furniture Delivery include delivery inside your home, where experienced white glove delivery service professionals will carefully unpack and inspect each item, assemble it and place it in your room of choice. For your convenience, all packing materials will be removed. We ask that you closely inspect your item(s) before our delivery professionals leave your home.
Our delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home. To facilitate delivery, please clear the space where furniture will be placed prior to delivery.

An authorized individual must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt.

Oversized, extremely heavy or fragile items cost more to ship and handle and require additional delivery support, thus incurring a surcharge. This additional charge is listed with the product price on the applicable product page and in the cart.

Items not shipping via Unlimited Furniture Delivery, including certain smaller furniture items, will generally be shipped and charged a standard shipping rate based on the total merchandise value. Items that ship Standard Delivery arrive in 3-7 business days.

For an additional $25 per address, we can ship orders received by noon ET (Mon-Fri) to arrive in 2-3 business days (2-Day Rush). For an additional $35 per address, we can ship orders received by noon ET (Mon-Fri) to arrive in 1-2 business days (1-Day Rush). Rush delivery is not available to APO/FPO/DPO addresses, PO boxes , or for items that ship via Unlimited Furniture Delivery. Overnight delivery is available to most locations in the continental U.S.

Front Door items ship from our warehouse and arrive within 4-5 business days of receiving your order.

For an extra charge of $26 per address we can arrange for next day delivery to most destinations within the contiguous 48 states.

If we receive your order by 6pm PT Monday through Friday, you’ll receive your order the next business day; orders placed Friday after 6pm PT through Sunday will arrive on Tuesday.

With Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping, an unlimited number of eligible furniture can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. Your order will ship when all items in your order are available for delivery.

Truck Delivery usually includes our premium White Glove Service – items are delivered to your home by appointment to your room of choice — and are then unpacked and fully assembled.

Fees: Flat Rate fees and/or parcel carrier delivery and processing charges are shown under Shipping Rates, and will be applied in the Checkout Payment + Review page.


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us to return or exchange your item(s). Upon return, your item will be inspected and exchanges, credits or refunds will be issued for the purchase price. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with applicable laws. Delivery fees are non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or transit damage. RH reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the client.

Special orders are submitted for production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed; the remaining 50% will be charged when your order ships. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Once delivered, special order returns or exchanges due to customer preference or any other reason cannot be accepted.

We accept returns for non-furniture items within 30 days, with proof of purchase.

Final sale items and clearance items, as well as any items purchased at RH Outlet stores or Warehouse Sales, are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

For all orders that are cancelled prior to items shipping, no delivery fee will be charged. For special order items, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Should you decide to cancel a return and keep the item after a refund was issued, we will charge your credit card in the amount of the refund issued.

Our goal is to provide accuracy in all prices, delivery rates and other information. All prices in our source books and online are in U.S. dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we reserve the right to restrict orders of those items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

Ineligible Items
Items non-eligible for returns or exchanges:
• Monogrammed items
• Final sale items (with prices ending in $.X7 or $.X9)
• Items damaged through normal wear and tear

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase of a stocked item, including manufacturer defects you must exchange or return it within 30 DAYS of the order receipt date for a full refund of the merchandise cost (delivery fees are non-refundable).

Please note that we cannot accept returns on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items, which are identified by a price ending in .99 or .97.

• Original Receipt — Returns with the original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment.
• Delivery Fees — Delivery fees are non-refundable and prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments.
